A weekend full of new milestones for tennis #JomaTeam. Marie Bouzkova and Pedro Martínez Portero were finalists in Bogotá and Estoril, respectively. Meanwhile, Spanish player Ariana Geerlings opened her professional record by winning the W15 Telde.

Marie Bouzkova finalist in WTA Bogotá

Joma tennis player Marie Bouzkova reached the final of the WTA Bogotá after defeating Kamilla Rakhimova in the semifinals by 6-4, 7-6 (2), entering this tournament as the top seeded defeating her opponents without much of a fight. Her journey in the WTA Bogotá has served as a great opportunity to continue progressing and gaining experience on clay for other major events.

Pedro Martinez finalist in ATP Estoril

Pedro Martínez Portero almost won the Estoril ATP title (Portugal). The Spanish player, who had a nearly perfect week on Portuguese soil last Sunday, faced Hurkacz in a close final. He had defeated the top seeded, Norwegian Casper Ruud, and had been crowned champion of the Girona Challenger.

Ariana Geerlings wins her first professional title

Spanish tennis  young promise Ariana Geerlings opened her professional record by winning her first trophy of the year at the W15 Telde 2024 tournament. This Sunday, she defeated German Caroline Werner in the final 2-6, 7-5, 7-5.

The #JomaPlayer reached her first final last year in Castellón after being crowned Junior European Champion. In Telde, she reached the final by eliminating the top seeded in the quarterfinals, Paula Arias from Ávila, 7-6(5), 7-5, and defeating Hungarian Adrienn Nagy in the semifinals 6-1, 7-5.
