The #JomaTrailTeam ends the MiM Penyagolosa Trail 2024 with two podium finishes

Gemma Arenas reigns in the 25th edition of the Asics Penyagolosa Trail 2024, while Víctor del Águila closed the men’s podium with his third position.

The XXV edition of the MiM Penyagolosa Trail ends with two podium finishes for the #JomaTrail Team. There, professional Joma athletes were competing throughout the weekend and ended the day with several medals. A clear demonstration of the high level of Joma trail running athletes.

First, Gemma Arenas once again took the victory in Penyagolosa, repeating the win she achieved last year in 2023 and in 2016, in addition to having climbed the podium several times and winning the long distance race in 2019. Gemma crossed the finish line with a final time of 6 hours, 23 minutes, and 21 seconds. She had already added medals to her record in Ultra Gran Canaria just a few weeks before. On the other hand, fellow Joma athlete Inés Astrain finished the course in fourth place.

In the men’s category, Víctor del Águila closed the men’s podium in third place. Similarly, Julen Calvó had an unexpected finish competing in Joma footwea. The runner trusted the brand to compete in this competition and surprised by making it difficult for the race champion.

Adding medals with the TR-6000 shoes

It is worth mentioning that all of them wore the new high-end TR-6000 shoes. This model was developed to provide maximum performance in races. The carbon fiber plate CARBON PLATE along with FLY REACTIVE technology maximize reactivity and energy savings.
