EIBAR Sociedad Deportiva Eibar is a football club from the city of Guipuzcoa Eibar in the Basque Country. It was founded on January 1, 1940 and currently plays in the Spanish Serie A

Founded in 1940, Eibar Sports Association is a football club that has participated in all categories of football competitions during its long history, from regional to first division. The most outstanding sporting milestones in its history are its eighteen consecutive years in the Second Division (from 1988 to 2006, a record in this category) and its promotion to the First Division in the 2013-2014 season, in which it currently plays. Eibar's first team played at the 6,300-capacity Ipurua Municipal Stadium and trained at the Atxabalpe facility in the town of Mondragón. It has a women's team playing in the national second division and its quarry structure includes seven men's teams and two women's teams, as well as a football school.
