Norwich Football Club (also known as the Canaries or the Yellows) is an English professional football club based in Norwich, Norfolk. As of the 2021-22 season, the team will compete in the Premier League, the highest level of English football, after winning the 2020-21 EFL Championship title. The club was founded in 1902. Norwich have played their home games at Carrow Road since 1935 and have a long and fierce rivalry with East Anglia rivals Ipswich Town, with whom they have played since 1902. The club wears its iconic yellow and green jerseys and is nicknamed Los Canarios for its history of breeding these birds in the area (they are said to have been introduced to the region around the 16th century by a group of European immigrants) Weavers of the region, known as "Los Forasteros").
